The industry includes large companies like Western Forest Products, Interfor, Stella-Jones, Norbord, and Goodfellow, as well as divisions of integrated businesses such as Canfor, Resolute Forest Products, and West Fraser Timber. Canada is home to about 10% of the world’s forestland and is a global leader in wood production and exports.
